Discover the many wineries of Marlborough on your own self-guided biking wine tour. We’ll set you up with quality. equipment and send you on your way with all the recommendations, tips, and hints you need to craft your own unforgettable Marlborough wine adventure.
The terrain is flat, the biking is easy and the scenery is stunning. If you’re up for it, hiring a bike from us and spending the day cycling between vineyards is one of the best ways to take in the beauty of Marlborough.
Our base at the Vines Village is within 3km of over a dozen wineries. We have safe off-road parking (for cars, vans, campers and trailers) and an on-site café where you can pick up a picnic lunch or a drink before your adventure begins.
To make it easier for you, we’ve put together some recommended routes which we have marked on the map we’ll provide.
Our Most Popular Option – Full Day Self-Guided Tour
Pick up: For Full Day Self Guided Tours you recieve a complementary pick-up and drop-off service within central Blenheim/Renwick/Spring Creek areas. We will pick you up from the accommodation given in your booking. Please be ready outside your accommodation at the time stated in your booking confirmation – we will be in an ‘Explore Marlborough’ sign written shuttle.
Alternatively if you haven’t given an address, you can meet us at our base – The Vines Village, 193 Raparua Road.
Drop off: At the end of the day we will drop you back to your accommodation.
Wineries: We provide you with a map of the wineries and give you some ideas on where to go and what to do for your day. Unless you have a large group you do not need to pre-book the tastings at wineries. The wineries charge a small tasting fee and all take EFTPOS or credit cards. We recommend allowing 45-60 mins per winery if you are pre-planning your day.
