4:30 pm bike drop off at the Vines Village. We’ll then drop you back at your Blenheim or Renwick accommodation.

Winery Visits
3+ boutique Marlborough wineries minimum on your guided morning tour. How many wineries you visit in the afternoon is up to you.

Group Size

Lunch
Lunch is not included. But your morning guide will give you a full brief on the local lunch and winery options for your self-guided afternoon.

Distance
Normally around 4 to 6 km in the morning. The afternoon is up to you!

Difficulty
Low – the terrain is gentle, the pace is leisurely and we stick to bike paths and quiet country roads where possible. If you think biking might still be too difficult then consider hiring an electric bike for a small additional cost.

You start the day with a guided morning bike tour through Marlborough wine country, then continue on your own for the afternoon. We’ll lead you through three boutique wineries in the morning, then hand over the freedom to keep exploring at your own pace after lunch.

You get the best of both worlds. The morning includes a friendly local guide, quality bikes and helmets, and all morning tasting costs. In the afternoon, you keep the bike, the route ideas, and the freedom to visit more wineries on your own. Pick-up from Blenheim or Renwick accommodation is included.

The tour starts from NZ$185 per person. That includes the guided morning ride, bike hire, helmets, tasting fees for the guided portion, and the self-guided afternoon that follows. E-bikes are available for an additional cost.

In the morning you’ll visit three boutique wineries with your guide. After lunch, you can keep going on your own and visit more if you want to. The afternoon is flexible, so the total number depends on your pace and how far you want to ride.

No, you don’t need to be an experienced cyclist. The riding is easy and the pace is relaxed, with mostly flat terrain and quiet roads. If you want extra help, an e-bike makes the whole day even easier.

The guided morning is all about local insight, structure, and easy touring from winery to winery. The self-guided afternoon gives you more freedom to choose where you go, how long you stay, and whether you stop for another tasting, lunch, or a longer ride through the valley.

We pick you up from your Blenheim or Renwick accommodation in the morning. The guided portion starts from our base in the heart of Marlborough wine country, and after lunch you head off on your own before wrapping up your afternoon wherever your day takes you.
