When you visit the Te Whare Ra cellar door it is highly likely you will get to meet one of the owners, Jason or Anna. They are passionate about what they do and the biodynamic wines they are producing. Try their delicious “Toru” wine which is a blend of aromatics.

Bladen Hand Crafted-Wines

We recommend everyone visit Bladen. It is one of the smallest wineries in the valley with a one room cellar door, lovely wines and always one of the family serving on the cellar door. It is a picture perfect spot and often the favourite winery of the day due to the outstanding hospitality of Dave and Chris Macdonald.

Wither Hills

Close to Blenheim. This stunning building has a cellar door, restaurant, viewing tower, barrel hall and a vine library as well as a great selection of wines.

Rockferry Wine

One of our favourite lunch spots but the wines are great, too. Here is a good opportunity to compare wines from Marlborough with those from their vineyards in Central Otago.

This might be the smallest cellar door in the valley. These guys are Pinot Gris specialists. On a visit here, you’ll meet the owners, hear their stories and benefit from their wealth of knowledge.
