The Self Guided Full Day Biking Wine Tour caters to those who want to go at it alone for the day – ideal for the independent traveler, groups or families with children as they are able to set their own day plan based on the needs of the family.

Everything is organised for you! Pick up and drop off from the Picton I-site, set you up with bikes, helmets, maps, our recommendations and an option to book you in for lunch at a winery restaurant. Start your ride at The Vines Village which includes Whitehaven wine tasting, Cheese & Cheers Whisky room, cafe and shops. We also offer wine collection from the cellar doors through out day so you don’t have to carry it on the bike and emergency on call pick up if required.

Pick Up
Transport is included from Picton I-site and takes you to our base at The Vines Village (193 Rapaura Rd)

Drop Off
You drop your bike back to our base at The Vines Village (193 Rapaura Rd) and we drop you back to Picton I-site.

Winery Visits
We suggest you aim to fit in 5 winery visits with a lunch stop. But if you’re up for it (and with an E-bike), you can fit in as many as you like.

Group Size
We can accommodate groups of all sizes

Difficulty
Low – the terrain is gentle, the pace is leisurely and we can recommend a route that allows you to stick to bike paths and quiet country roads.
