The half-day guided tour starts from NZ$155 per person on a standard bike, or NZ$220 on an e-bike. The Deluxe Private Full Day tour is priced at NZ$600 per adult on a standard bike, NZ$665 on an e-bike (2pax minimum). Both options include all winery tasting costs and a free shuttle from your Blenheim or Renwick accommodation.

We collect you from your accommodation in the morning in our shuttle and head out to the heart of Marlborough wine country. Your guide leads the way through vineyard trails, river stop-banks, and quiet country roads, no maps needed. The half-day tour visits three boutique wineries and finishes around 12:30pm. The Deluxe Full Day is completely custom to you, you can visit at least five wineries, have a long lunch at a vineyard restaurant, and return you to your accommodation in the afternoon.

Not at all. The terrain is flat, the pace is relaxed, and we stick to bike paths and quiet country roads wherever possible. If you’re unsure about cycling, e-bikes are available for a small additional cost and make the day effortless regardless of fitness level.

No need to worry. Marlborough has some of the highest sunshine hours in New Zealand. But if the weather does turn, we switch you to a driving wine tour at no extra cost so your day is never wasted.

The half-day guided tour takes a maximum of eight people. If you’re booking for more than eight, get in touch and we can discuss group options. The Deluxe Private Full Day is capped at six people, making it ideal for a small group wanting an exclusive, tailored experience.

Yes, though a solo surcharge applies. The solo adult rate for the Deluxe Full Day is NZ$1,200 (equivalent to two adult places). For solo travellers on a budget, the half-day guided tour at NZ$155 is the best entry point.

Children aged 6 and over are welcome on the Deluxe Private Full Day tour. We have quality bikes for kids and can tailor the route to suit the group. The half-day tour is open to ages 13 and up.

The half-day is a great introduction, three wineries, a knowledgeable guide, and you’re done by lunchtime. The Deluxe Full Day is a premium private experience with at least five wineries, an in-depth experience at one of them (private tour, tasting, or food and wine match), a long vineyard lunch, and a full day tailored entirely to your group. If you want the full Marlborough wine experience, the Full Day is worth it.

It depends on what you’re after. A guided tour means a local expert leads the way, shares the stories behind the vines and wines, and handles everything from logistics to tasting costs. A self-guided tour gives you complete freedom to set your own pace and choose your own wineries. If you want a taste of both, our Morning Guided and Afternoon Self-Guided tour is the best of both worlds.

We pick you up from your Blenheim or Renwick accommodation at 9:30am in our sign-written shuttle. Tours are based out of The Vines Village on Rapaura Road, right in the heart of Marlborough wine country.
