Karen Walshe
Karen has lived in Marlborough for six years and is passionate about the region and its produce. Karen shifted to Marlborough to work for Grove Mill winery as their marketing manager. She has since set up her own marketing company and consults to businesses locally. Karen loves the outdoors and after spending a summer as a sea kayak and walking guide in the Marlborough Sounds meeting a succession of wonderful people she decided to start her own tour company and Explore Marlborough was born.
Charlotte Patterson
Charlotte moved to Marlborough 12 years ago and while travelling is one of her passions she is always happy to come home to beautiful Marlborough. Trained as an accountant she has spent the last 9 years working in a management role for the Prenzel Distilling Company - a boutique food manufacturer and distillery. She left there in early 2007 to travel to the USA to indulge her passions of cooking and yoga working in the kitchen of a yoga retreat for 3 months. On returning to NZ she left the accounting world far behind to set up Explore Marlborough with Karen and run her own Bed & Breakfast.
